I am so excited to share our Holiday Style 2013, Nasty Gal Sequin Maxi Skirt Edition. I hope everyone is enjoying Black Friday, I know I am from my couch with my 2 bambinos. Styling this post was so much fun! I was eyeing this sequin maxi skirt from Nasty Gal for awhile now and finally its mine!!! Last season tulle skirts were a big hit, and this season sequin maxi skirts are a must for your closet. Hair:
Prep your hair by using a 1″ inching iron and curl your whole head.
Then section your hair into a side part.
Braid your hair into a french braid starting at your part and wrapping around your head. Pin the tail of your braid up on top of the braid against your head.
Now take Oribe Dry Texture Spray spray all over your head and then “ruff up” the braid pulling and stretching the style.
Finish with a shine spray and a firm hold hairspray
Makeup:
I kept my makeup very simple in this shoot. I wanted to focus on a bright red lip and minimal eyeshadow.
Lips: Nars Jungle Red
Cheeks: Stila Convertible Color in Peony {just a little bit goes a long way}
Nails:
Shellac Bare Chemise, Opi When Monkeys Fly and Rose quartz
