This week’s Tuesday Tip deals with Concealer. We are often asked how to create a “contoured” and “brighter” look when it comes to makeup. Concealer can be your best friend or your worst nightmare – photographs – flashes – use wisely. Visit your nearest department store makeup counter to get matched for a concealer color, typically a shade lighter than your natural skin tone.
Concealer can disguise blemishes, camouflage dark circles, and contour the face. Two of our go-to concealers include MAC Pro long wear concealer and Benefit Erase Paste. Apply the concealer not only beneath the eyes {be sure to BLEND!} and also along the bridge of your nose, brow bone and above the brow, along the crease of your nostrils, corners of your lips, and beneath the bottom lip. Using a blending brush, swirl and blend into place to make you appear brighter and more awake.
Stay tuned for next week’s highlighting guide…
