Highlighting is a quick and easy way to create a radiant glow in your skin’s appearance.
When choosing a highlighter, look for one with a very fine shimmer in a neutral tone so it will mesh and blend flawlessly with your natural tones.
Shimmer highlighters that are very pigmented with color can have the opposite effect and make you appear too made up, and even clown-like … yuck!
Apply a highlighter in accordance to our helpful guide above. You want to prime your skin, apply your foundation, conceal under eyes and blemishes, and then apply a highlighter above the brow, on the brow bone, on the highest point of your cheek bone, down the bridge of the nose, at the point of your cupids bow, and below your bottom lip.
Be careful when applying highlighters – too much can have the opposite effect and give you a “deer in headlights” look, which none of us want 🙂
